Help us screen it in more places
Thank you to every individual and organization who made A Place Called Desire possible.
Making this film was costly. Hurricanes Betsy and Katrina washed away many of the community’s photographs, so much of the story had to be told with archival footage and images licensed from repositories. One second of archival film footage can cost $20, and a single newspaper photograph about $250.
New donations support distribution: more screenings in theaters, schools and community groups, and a planned DVD combo package.
